Billing Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a detail‑driven Invoicing / Billing Specialist to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for temporary, contract, and direct placement staffing services. You'll partner closely with Payroll, Sales, Finance, and Account Management to ensure timesheets, rates, markups, and client agreements are correctly applied and billing issues are resolved quickly. Hybrid Job type: Full time Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue client invoices; validate timesheets, pay rates, bill rates, overtime, and markups Apply client‑specific pricing and ensure alignment with payroll timelines Review contracts and billing requirements for compliance Research and resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries Submit invoices through client portals and VMS platforms (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, Coupa) Maintain billing data, reports, and audit documentation Qualifications 2-4+ years of billing or invoicing experience (staffing industry preferred) Strong Excel skills and experience with billing/accounting systems High attention to detail in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Client‑facing communication experience required Knowledge of staffing pay/bill models and VMS tools is a plus
