® is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing and Credentialing Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate coding, and facilitating timely collections. This role is essential in maintaining the financial health of our ABA practice while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Duties Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients. Review and verify patient information and medical records for accuracy. Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 to ensure correct billing. Handle medical collections by following up on outstanding claims and payments. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) regulations and guidelines. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to medical billing. Manage patient inquiries regarding billing issues and provide necessary support. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with medical records management and medical office procedures. Proficient in using billing software systems and electronic health records (EHR). Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding practices, and insurance processes. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives. Certification in Medical Billing or Coding is a plus but not required. Join the
