$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Job description: Live. Grow. Share. is a Peer-Run Behavioral Health Organization in Eugene, Oregon. We opened in September of 2023 and have grown our practice to 40 employees and a client census of 220. We use Kipu EHR and Kipu RCM (formerly Avea).

Qualifications:

Experience in Medicaid Billing Attention to detail Ability to learn new systems Familiarity with behavioral health billing codes and diagnosis codes Responsibilities of the

Billing Specialist:

Posting payments received into the billing department Working with health insurance remittance payments Verifications and authorizations with insurance and Medicaid Research and resolve denied claims Working collaboratively with admin team on claims Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers Process claims Conduct audits Navigate between EHR and RCM to verify client data and encounters

Hours:

1-2 days per week to start, increase as organization grows. There will be two residential treatment homes opening this year. Our full time positions are 32 hour work weeks with benefits. We are a team of individuals with lived experience in mental health and/or addiction challenges. We have created a supportive, welcoming environment for our staff and clients.
