Location :
Candidates must reside in the Chicagoland area. This is a hybrid position (work from home and on location). Candidates must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license in good standing. The role requires travel to client sites, meetings, training locations, and other business-related events. Occasional overnight travel may also be required. Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and revenue optimization for our healthcare clients. This individual will be responsible for managing the full revenue cycle process, including claim submissions, payments, denials and appeals, payor follow-ups, patient billing and collections, payment posting, coding compliance, and reporting. The RCM Specialist works closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure compliance, minimize denials, and accelerate cash flow. Must have Nextech and Dermatology billing experience. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in revenue cycle management or medical billing in dermatology; certification in coding and billing by an accredited institution is preferred. Strong proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets) is a must. Demonstrated experience with practice management systems, billing platforms, and clearinghouse solutions. Required experience with Nextech; preferred experience with Trizetto. Travel to client offices and conferences may be required, including out-of-state travel and overnight stays.
