Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping healthcare operations run smoothly? We're looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursements, and exceptional support for both patients and providers. What You'll Do Submit and manage insurance claims accurately and efficiently. Review patient accounts. Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims to maximize reimbursement. Post payments and adjustments while maintaining accurate records. Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries. Resolve billing discrepancies and identify opportunities for process improvement. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer guidelines. Assist with account reconciliation and reporting activities. What We're Looking For Experience in medical billing, healthcare revenue cycle management, or a related field. Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims processing, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and billing software. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
