Pending Payment Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Pending Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the No Payment Report to determine why payments have not been issued and make any necessary corrections in order to ensure maximum reimbursements. This role is crucial in supporting our revenue cycle management and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software. Duties Determine why previously billed calls were not processed for payment and make any necessary changes in order to rebill each call. Locate and provide additional documentation notated as missing in order to re-process call for payment. Take Patient Payments and follow up on outstanding accounts. Prepare entries related to billing activities and make necessary adjustments. Manage account functions related to billing discrepancies. Utilize ESO, Waystar and nSure software for billing processes and record keeping. Maintain accurate records to ensure financial integrity. Collaborate with patients, clients, healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues and obtain required documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management is preferred. Strong understanding of coding practices and medical collection processes is preferred. Familiarity with ESO or similar billing software is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills for interaction with clients, healthcare providers, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
