Our integrated healthcare services include:

primary care, orthopaedics, neurosurgeon, neurologist, and physical therapy. We are open Monday through Friday and this position is full time from 8 AM- 4:30 PM. As a Medical Billing Specialist you will play a crucial role in our organization. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, self motivated, and flourishes in a team environment. Due to the nature of the healthcare industry, a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail is essential. JOB DUTIES / REQUIREMENTS

Strong attention to detail to review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate coding and billing Strong work ethic both independently and with a team in order to achieve weekly, monthly and yearly goals Knowledge in ICD-10 Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting is preferred Communicate effectively and professionally via phone, fax, written communications and in person Inputs concise, clear notes into billing system describing all activities performed on patient accounts Works closely with Providers and other departments to ensure and verify correct diagnosis, date of service, and procedural codes were entered correctly Enters charges daily Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Proficiency with proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology required Help in other areas of the billing department as necessary Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PDF's Reliable transportation with ability to be on time each day
