None SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Collections Coordinator, this position is responsible for administrative support in the Finance Department and specifically the accounts receivable area.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Makes outbound collection calls on past due accounts Updates system notes with details of account activity Mails out notices/invoices upon request and on a monthly basis Creates a clear payment plan on past due accounts Processes payment requests via credit/debit card. Updates the Workday system with customer contact information Pulls files for release of lien. Prepares and mails out releases for AR team. Provides administrative support to the Finance Dept to include scanning, filing, answering phones, covering lunch at front desk and directing customer traffic. Receives, and collects payments while at front desk. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Research Government records and PRAD for recorded lien information Update spreadsheet information on mailed releases, outbound calls etc…MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of two years of collection or related experience. Valid Texas Driver's License required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to operate computers for data entry and word processing. Strong verbal and written communication skill. Ability to operate small office equipment, including copy machines or multi-line telephone systems.ADA PROFILE

Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. This position may be required to work outside normal shifts including evenings, weekends, and overtime as necessary by the department.
