The Billing Clerk is responsible for managing billing and collections processes for hospital and clinics, including insurance filing, patient charges, and payment follow-up. This role involves submitting claims to insurance companies as well as monitoring payment status. The Billing Clerk also provides support with additional tasks as assigned. Routine working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Billing Clerk must be able to extend the workday as needed during periods of high census or increased departmental workload. Candidates must pass background check.
