The ideal candidate will have outstanding organization and communications skills, be self-motivated with minimal supervision necessary.
DUTIES OF THE BILLING/CODING SPECIALIST
Enter daily charges Collect copays, deductibles, and coinsurance from patients Answer telephones and assist with patient questions or concerns regarding their account Run AR reports, follow up and appeal on claims Able to perform duties and exercise a mastery of detail while meeting deadlines Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to achieve objectives while maintaining effective relationships with all levels of healthcare professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE BILLING/CODING SPECIALIST
High school diploma or higher Ability to read an EOB/ERA Familiar with different insurance policies and Workers Comp Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Familiarity with medical terminology Excellent work ethic and amazing team working skills
