Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in El Paso, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of billing processes, reconciling accounts, and maintaining essential sales and accounts receivable records. Responsibilities:

• Verify invoices against bills of lading to confirm shipment and sales data accuracy.
• Compile accounts receivable reports to support month-end closing activities.
• Summarize invoices, including material volumes and associated costs, for tracking purposes.
• Process and download billing data using automated systems.
• Prepare and update daily and monthly sales reports, ensuring all figures are balanced.
• Reconcile monthly account balances to maintain financial accuracy.
• Utilize Excel for data tracking and report generation, focusing on standard functionalities.
• Generate customer invoices based on shipment weights to ensure accurate billing. Requirements
• Experience in billing processes, including invoice preparation and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with computerized billing systems and data processing.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining billing statements and reports.
• Strong organizational skills to manage accounts receivable operations effectively.
• Basic Excel skills, including the ability to track and summarize data.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
