Billing Specialist

Cardiovascular Billing Specialist We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our established cardiovascular practice. Experience in cardiovascular billing is preferred, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. This is an on-site position. Responsibilities Submit and follow up on insurance claims Manage claim denials, appeals, and payment posting Verify insurance benefits and authorizations Review documentation and coding for billing accuracy Work closely with providers and clinical staff to optimize reimbursement Maintain accurate patient billing records Communicate professionally with insurance companies and patients regarding billing questions Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical billing, preferably cardiology/cardiovascular Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and modifier usage Familiarity with Medicare, commercial insurance, and Medicare Advantage plans Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with EMR/EHR and billing software preferred (Cerner) What We're Looking For We value reliability, attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
