Job Description

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA growing multi-entity organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role will support multiple entities and focus heavily on invoice processing, reconciliations, vendor communication, and researching discrepancies in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who values accuracy, follow-through, and stability over high-volume transactional processing.
Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices across multiple entities with strong attention to detail
  • Enter, code, and route invoices through accounting workflows and approval systems
  • Perform weekly ACH and check payment processing
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Research and track down missing invoices with internal project teams and external vendors
  • Support month-end close activities and AP reconciliations
  • Maintain strong vendor and internal stakeholder communication
  • Assist with utilities, overhead AP, and general AP support functions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Collaborate closely with AP leadership and accounting team members
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
  • Experience with Sage and/or TimberScan preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills required; VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and SUMIFS preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Stable work history and professional communication skills required
  • Ability to work well within an established team environment
  • Comfortable working fully onsite

Pay Details:
