Pentara is a leading clinical research organization, and we're looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Billing Specialist at Pentara, you will be the backbone of our revenue cycle, ensuring that our life-saving research services are accurately invoiced and tracked. You will work closely with our Project Managers and Executive Leadership to translate complex clinical trial milestones into clear, professional financial records. What you will do:

Invoice Generation:

Prepare, review, and issue monthly invoices for clinical research services, ensuring alignment with specific client contracts and project milestones.

Account Reconciliation:

Monitor accounts receivable and reconcile billing data with project management tracking systems to ensure no revenue is lost.

Contract Review:

Analyze client Letters of Engagement (LOEs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to ensure billing compliance and accurate rate application.

Client Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for client billing inquiries, resolving discrepancies with professionalism and empathy.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in month-end closing procedures and provide weekly reports on WIP (Work in Progress), AR aging, and cash flow to leadership.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to automate or streamline billing workflows to enhance Pentara's standard of efficiency.

Experience you will bring:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a corporate finance role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex formatting).
