Premium Billing Specialist
- Bilingual/Spanish TEKsystems $20.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Utah, Salt Lake City May 16, 2026
- Premium Billing Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
- Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite)
Pay:
- $20/hr
Schedule:
- Full-time (40 hrs/week)
- Typical shifts: 8:00 AM
- 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM
- 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM
- 5:30 PM
- Occasional Saturdays (~2/month)
Start Date:
- June 22, 2026
Contract Duration:
- 4 months (contract-to-hire with potential for extension or conversion)
- Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus!

- Position Overview
- We are hiring
- Premium Billing Specialists
- to support a high-volume customer service team.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service while handling billing-related inquiries
- Answer inbound calls and assist with payments, account questions, and billing education
- Make outbound calls regarding delinquent accounts and follow-ups
- Research and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Process payments and assist customers with online billing enrollment
- Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
- Daily Workflow
- Primarily inbound call support (7-7.5 hours/day)
- Average call volume:
- 25-30 calls/day (standard periods)
- 50-60 calls/day (peak/open enrollment season)
- Scheduled breaks and lunch provided
- Weekly team huddles and monthly meetings
- Opportunity to grow into more advanced responsibilities over time
- Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer service experience (call center, retail, banking, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems and screens
- Basic math and computer skills (including typing and navigating systems)
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Experience handling payments or working with financial transactions
