Job Description:
Proven experience managing the full billing lifecycle from contract review through invoice generation, issue resolution, and collections support. Demonstrated ability to operate beyond transactional billing and serve as a strategic partner in improving billing processes and controls. Manage recurring billing cycles and process invoices across multiple revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Review contracts, pricing, and billing data to ensure invoices align with customer agreements. Maintain billing records and system setup within Sage Intacct and related platforms. Respond to billing inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies, credits, and account issues. Process manual invoices and billing adjustments with appropriate approvals. Support month-end close activities related to billing and accounts receivable. Monitor billing operations, maintain documentation, and identify process improvement opportunities. Experience mentoring, training, or providing guidance to junior team members. Process improvement mindset with a track record of identifying inefficiencies, driving automation, and enhancing billing operations in high-volume environments. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex billing issues and recommend scalable solutions. Comfortable managing a large volume of billing activity while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Resilient, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage competing priorities and periods of increased workload, including overtime when required. Ability to work independently, take ownership of billing operations, and serve as a trusted resource for leadership.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or finance operations. Experience managing high-volume transactions with strong attention to detail. Proficient in Excel, including lookups, filtering, and basic analysis. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
