Job Description

Job Overview Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and timely for clinical and administrative staff Review timesheets, PTO, bonuses, deductions, and payroll adjustments Maintain employee payroll records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance Assist staff with payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies Support behavioral health billing processes including claim submission, payment posting, and invoice generation Verify insurance information and assist with billing corrections and claim follow-up Monitor outstanding balances, accounts receivable, and assist with collections efforts Work with insurance companies regarding claim status, denials, and payment issues Assist with patient billing inquiries and payment processing Maintain accurate financial records and documentation within practice management systems Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient and employee information Assist with month-end financial reporting and reconciliation tasks Support providers and office leadership with administrative and operational needs Maintain knowledge of insurance billing requirements, payer guidelines, and reimbursement procedures Perform other administrative and financial duties as assigned Qualifications Experience with payroll processing and behavioral health or medical billing preferred Knowledge of insurance verification, claims processing, and payment posting Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Ability to manage sensitive financial and patient information professionally Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing software systems
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
