Collections Representative

Our company provides in-house loans with no credit checks, short 2-3 year terms, and a life-of-loan limited warranty to support long-term customer success. Position Overview:

We are looking for a Subprime Collector who is assertive, organized, and passionate about customer accountability and success. You'll work directly with customers to resolve delinquent accounts, maintain compliance, and protect our portfolio through timely and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage accounts in the 1-30 day delinquency bucket Contact customers by phone, text, and email to resolve past-due accounts Set up payment arrangements, extensions, and autopay reauthorizations Submit repossession, skip tracing, and collateral protection requests Document all customer communication thoroughly and professionally Work closely with loan counselors to retain customers and prevent charge-offs Address and escalate issues involving insurance lapses, bankruptcy filings, and legal recovery Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio performance goals

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of subprime collections experience required (Buy Here Pay Here preferred) Must be an expert in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with delinquency management and skip tracing tools Confident and professional phone presence; strong negotiation skills Must be detail-oriented and able to handle a fast-paced workflow Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to the team Bilingual (Spanish) a strong plus
