Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Collections Supervisor to lead and support a high-performing Revenue Cycle team within a growing healthcare organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a department undergoing positive transformation under new leadership, with a focus on building efficient processes, strengthening team performance, and enhancing revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong hospital billing expertise, experience working with government payers, and a passion for developing staff while driving operational excellence Responsibilities Supervise and support the daily operations of the hospital billing team Monitor employee productivity, quality metrics, and team performance to ensure departmental goals are met Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and regular employee check-ins Oversee claims processing and maintain optimal clean claim rates Identify billing edits, denials, and reimbursement issues and implement corrective actions Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies with patients, payers, and reimbursement agencies Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of billing staff Ensure compliance with all departmental policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards Support process improvement initiatives and departmental operational goals Maintain confidentiality and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required 10+ years of hospital collections and revenue cycle experience Experience across the Revenue Cycle, including medical billing, collections, payment posting, and claims management Hands-on experience billing government healthcare programs, including Medi-Cal and Medi-Cal Managed Care Strong understanding of government payer billing regulations and reimbursement requirements Experience using electronic billing systems and EMR/EHR software High School Diploma or equivalent, or 5-10 years of dedicated Revenue Cycle experience Ability to obtain required facility safety and assault response certifications within 30 days of hire Preferred Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and diagnosis coding principles Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
