Recovery Floor Supervisor Talk-Off Specialist | Collections Closer | Team Coach Cawley & Bergmann, Inc. Jacksonville, FL | Full-Time | On-Site Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus Cawley & Bergmann is looking for a hands-on collections leader who knows how to close deals, coach collectors in real time, and lead from the front. This is not a desk-management position. We are looking for a proven collections professional who thrives on the collection floor, can jump on difficult calls, handle talk-offs, overcome objections, and help collectors secure payments when they need support. If you're the person agents turn to when they need help closing a deal, resolving an escalation, or navigating a difficult consumer conversation, we want to speak with you. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ What You'll Be Doing Serve as the primary floor support for collectors throughout the day Conduct talk-offs and second-voice interventions to help secure payments and settlements Coach collectors in real time to improve negotiation and closing techniques Handle escalated consumer conversations professionally and compliantly Monitor collector performance and identify coaching opportunities Assist with onboarding and development of new collectors Lead side-by-side coaching sessions and call reviews Drive team production while maintaining compliance standards Partner with leadership to improve recovery performance and collector effectiveness Create a positive, competitive, and results-driven culture on the collection floor ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ What We're Looking For ✔ Minimum 4 years of consumer collections experience ✔ Proven success negotiating payments, settlements, and resolving objections ✔ Strong talk-off and second-voice experience ✔ Experience coaching and developing collectors ✔ Ability to lead from the floor rather than from behind a desk ✔ Strong understanding of FDCPA, Reg F, and compliance requirements ✔ High-energy, performance-driven leadership style ✔ Ability to motivate collectors and improve production results ✔ Experience working large-balance credit card, consumer loan, or debt buyer portfolios preferred ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Why Join Cawley & Bergmann? We're looking for someone who can walk onto a call, take over a conversation, overcome objections, secure payment, and then coach the collector on how to do it themselves next time.
