Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end collections process for debt accounts, including follow-up on overdue payments and resolving billing discrepancies. Coordinate with accounts payable teams to ensure accurate processing of payments and account reconciliation. Negotiate payment arrangements with customers while adhering to company policies and compliance standards. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and implement strategies to recover outstanding balances effectively. Use financial software and accounting systems to track collection activities, generate reports, and analyze account status for ongoing improvement. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, insurance companies, and internal departments to ensure clear, professional interactions. Skills Proven experience in collections management. Proficiency with accounting software, financial software tools, and account reconciliation techniques. Exceptional negotiation skills combined with excellent customer service abilities to resolve disputes amicably. Solid understanding of accounts payable procedures, debits & credits, and financial concepts relevant to healthcare finance. Effective communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and professional correspondence. Ability to analyze complex account data through account analysis techniques and math skills to identify issues quickly.
