What you will do As the Motor Carrier and Motor Fuel Supervisor you will have the opportunity to: develop and lead a team of motivated individuals to meet the goals of the section and the division as a whole; work with different federal and international organizations and plans, including the International Registration Plan, the International Fuel Tax Agreement, Uniform Carrier Registration, and the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax; oversee the collection of motor fuel taxes; oversee systems and analyze data for data driven decision making; be a liaison for the division with its constituents and partners; and work to continuously innovate and improve the divisions processes and systems. What you need The ideal candidate will have: prior experience working in collaborative team environments and demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills; high attention to detail; effective verbal and written communication abilities including spelling, punctuation, and grammar; advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); ability to interpret information, laws, and policies; project management skills for short and long term projects; prioritize, organize, and direct the work of others and ability to effectively analyze and convey data and information, both within the Department of Revenue and to outside parties. Equally important will be a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, discretion, confidentiality, and a positive attitude! This is a full-time position with the Department of Revenue
