Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to benefit administration processes and claims management within the service industry. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to handling sensitive data with confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately input employee data related to claims, receipts, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) into the system.
- Verify and reconcile insurance benefits, ensuring all information aligns with employee records.
- Assist in managing benefit administration platforms to support entities in Arkansas.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive data and medical records.
- Provide empathetic and attentive customer service to address high-stress situations.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and expedite training for new hires.
- Utilize tools such as AHLTA, McKesson, EHR systems, and
IBM AS/400
for efficient data management.- Support new business initiatives by adapting to increased workloads and evolving needs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations during data entry and claims processing.
- Conduct background checks as necessary to maintain compliance with company policies. Requirements
- Proven experience with Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), McKesson, and EHR systems.
- Familiarity with IBM AS/400 and benefit administration platforms.
- Knowledge of claims administration, insurance benefits, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in data entry tasks.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
- Reliable and committed to maintaining consistent work quality.
- Preferred experience in benefits coordination and administration to expedite training processes.
