Job Description:
We have a non-profit in San Francisco, CA Seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Accounting and Operations Team with a special project. This would be supporting Data Entry along with other customer service tasks.
Position highlights:
5-days onsite NOT near Bart so someone living in SF proper preferred Pay up to $28/hr Strong data entry 6+ weeks in length Starts June 6th (could start sooner) About the Opportunity We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial data accuracy, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth financial processes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with spreadsheets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong Excel and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter, update, and maintain financial data across multiple systems and spreadsheets Review and validate financial information to ensure data integrity and accuracy Analyze, reconcile, and report financial data using large, formula-driven Excel spreadsheets Communicate with external vendors regarding invoicing, payment processing, and submission requirements Qualifications 2+ years of experience in accounting support, financial operations, bookkeeping, or related roles Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
