Full Job Description Position Description:

Settlement position is responsible for scanning documents into TMS, approving costs (pay to carriers/drivers), verifying rates, verify waiting time. Receive and Scan all documents received from carriers. Monitor & review documents for accuracy. Verify Legs are properly updated and have the correct information in TMS. Verify rates (cost/pay) to carriers. Approve Legs for pay to carriers. Verify standby time using GPS reporting system; scan backup; update TMS as needed. Follow up with dispatch if system is missing any Legs. Help to solve carrier issues/problems; provide solutions and alternatives; follow up. Approve invoices from carriers; verifying data on invoice matches TMS. Submit to AP. Adhere to KPI standards. Communication with Manager regarding exceptions. Communicate/update Manager/CSR's on daily progress, challenges, changes, concerns. Reply to emails timely and professionally. Complete other tasks as assigned.
