Job Description

Position Overview We are hiring a Data Collector to support the testing and development of our new earpiece product. This role is hands-on and in-person : you will use the earpieces in everyday scenarios, capture data through the companion iPhone app, and provide structured feedback that helps our team refine performance, comfort, and reliability. We are looking for someone reliable , detail-oriented , and easy to work with — someone who shows up on time, does the work, and tells us what they actually think. Key Responsibilities Wear and operate the earpieces during scheduled testing sessions throughout the workday. Use a personal iPhone (with a working Apple ID account) to run the companion app, log sessions, and sync collected data. Follow data collection protocols precisely and consistently across sessions. Record observations, edge cases, and any issues encountered (audio quality, fit, connectivity, battery, app behavior, etc.). Submit clear, written feedback at the end of each session and participate in team checkins. Flag bugs, anomalies, or unexpected behavior to the team in real time. Maintain the confidentiality of all pre-release hardware, software, and data. Required Qualifications Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Owns a personal iPhone and has an active Apple ID account in good standing. Comfortable installing apps, granting permissions, and following technical instructions on iOS. Available Monday through Friday for 6 hours per day during standard business hours. Reliable and punctual — consistent attendance is essential. Able to commit to a minimum of one month. Strong communicator who can give honest, specific, and constructive feedback. Detail-oriented and consistent — small differences in data matter. Curious and observant — notices things that others might overlook. Compensation & Contract Terms Paid hourly (rate discussed during interview).
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6 hours per day during regular business hours. 3 days per week minimum. Contract is month-to-month with a minimum commitment of one month. Either party may renew the contract on a monthly basis. The company reserves the right to end the contract early if the contractor is not a good fit for the role.
