Data Entry Clerk

Description We are looking for a dependable Data Entry Clerk to support a short-term Contract assignment in Wilmington, Delaware. This position is ideal for someone who works carefully with large sets of information, adapts quickly to unfamiliar software, and stays organized in a deadline-driven environment. The role will focus on maintaining data accuracy and helping the team complete a time-sensitive project over a 4-8 week period.

Responsibilities:

• Input and update large volumes of information while maintaining a high level of precision and consistency
• Review records thoroughly to confirm completeness, accuracy, and alignment across systems
• Assist with transferring data from an existing financial planning platform into a new system as part of a project-based assignment
• Investigate mismatched or incomplete records and take appropriate steps to correct errors
• Learn new software tools quickly and use them effectively to complete daily tasks
• Partner with the project team to uphold data quality standards and keep work on schedule
• Follow established procedures for record handling, updates, and system-related documentation Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a closely related administrative support role
• Strong typing ability with consistent accuracy when entering numeric and text-based information
• Comfort working with high-volume data sets and computer-based record systems
• Ability to learn new applications quickly and adapt to changing project needs
• Experience identifying data issues and resolving discrepancies with careful attention to detail
• Previous exposure to financial planning software or transferable platforms such as Salesforce is preferred
• Background in data migration, system conversion, or legacy-to-new-platform data transfer is preferred
