The Intake Specialist is the initial point of contact between the Firm and potential clients. They introduce the client to the Firms services and provide assistance after they agree to retain the Firms services. They are responsible for gathering, processing, and distributing the client's information to the appropriate departments. They should be comfortable in an office environment, familiar with Microsoft Office applications, and possess strong verbal and written communication.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Monitor and answer calls on a daily basis. Answer questions/concerns from clients regarding their claim. Process new client files for PI/First Party. Data entry of cases into case management systems (SmartAdvocate). Verify all information with the client (Insurance/Demographics/facts of loss). Assist in setting up a meeting with field reps/attorneys. Notifies attorneys/case managers of file assignments and time-sensitive tasks. Follow up with pending leads until clients are retained by the firm. Communicate with doctor offices and assist clients in setting up initial appointments. Perform other related duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F. High school/GED diploma required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong customer service skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently. Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.FIRM BENEFITS
