Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic office team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing data across various platforms to support smooth business operations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure the integrity of our records, contributing to efficient office management and excellent customer support. Responsibilities Enter, verify, and update data using software such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and specialized accounting tools like QuickBooks. Maintain accurate filing systems both electronically and physically, ensuring easy retrieval of documents. Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries with professional phone etiquette, and direct calls appropriately. Assist with clerical tasks including proofreading documents, data entry, and preparing reports for management review. Provide exceptional customer service by supporting client inquiries via phone or email and ensuring timely follow-up. Collaborate with team members on office management tasks such as organizing files, managing supplies, and supporting bookkeeping activities like basic bookkeeping or invoice processing. Qualifications Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong computer literacy skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and data entry software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Strong typing skills with high accuracy; attention to detail in proofreading and data verification. Experience using QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping tools is a plus. Bilingual abilities are desirable to support diverse client needs. Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles involving multi-line phone systems is preferred. Knowledge of office management practices including filing systems, calendar management, and basic bookkeeping is advantageous. Pay:
$27.33 - $32.35 per hour
