Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Processing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Miramar, Florida. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our sales and accounting teams, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of orders and invoices. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys administrative work involving data entry and customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Upload invoices into customer portals with precision and timeliness.
- Perform accurate data entry tasks, including recording sales orders and entering invoices.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including entering quotes into the system and sending them to customers.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to process credits, debits, and invoices.
- Handle shipping logistics for products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies related to orders or invoices when needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools to manage and track data efficiently.
- Support daily operations by completing various clerical tasks as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless order processing. Requirements
- Proficiency in accounts payable and billing processes.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience in invoice processing and order entry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other office software.
- Ability to provide administrative support and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Understanding of shipping procedures and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
