Job Description

Job Description A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire an Order Entry to come onboard! This individual will be responsible for managing the intake, scanning, processing, and shipment of physical orders within a fast-paced, on-site environment. The role involves working independently throughout the day, utilizing an iPad-based scanning system, basic ERP tools, and internal communication platforms to ensure orders are accurately processed and documented. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-comfortable, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.   • 1+ year of experience using basic computer applications (Outlook, Teams, or similar communication tools)
  • 1+ year of experience working with data entry or order processing systems (ERP exposure preferred, Oracle a plus)
  • Experience using mobile devices (iPad/tablet) or scanning systems in a professional environment
  • Ability to read and interpret basic order forms and follow structured processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide updates and escalate issues appropriately
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage daily tasks without direct supervision
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
