Job Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Processing Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our clients in Honolulu. This position will provide critical back-office support to help address a backlog of disability-related claims and assist with day-to-day claims administration.
The ideal candidate will have experience in claims processing, insurance support, or high-volume administrative work. This role focuses on accurate data entry, documentation review, eligibility verification, payment calculation support, and follow-up on outstanding internal claim requirements. This is a non-customer-facing position with no direct contact with external parties.

Responsibilities:
Provide back-office support for the processing of disability-related claimsReview claim documentation for completeness and accuracyEnter and update claim information in the appropriate systemsVerify eligibility requirements based on established guidelinesAssist with benefit calculation and payment processing supportTrack and follow up on missing or outstanding documentation internallyHelp reduce claims backlog by processing work efficiently and accuratelyMaintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive informationSupport internal claims operations and administrative tasks as neededSimilar jobs in Honolulu, HI
