Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a manufacturing organization in Boise, Idaho on a Contract basis. In this role, you will support accounts receivable operations by maintaining precise records, updating key information across business systems, and helping the team stay organized and efficient. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling high volumes of data, values accuracy, and can manage confidential information with care.

Responsibilities:

Input and update accounts receivable information in company databases and related systems with a high level of accuracy. Examine records for missing details, mismatched entries, or other discrepancies and make timely corrections. Maintain organized documentation so financial and data records remain complete, current, and easy to retrieve. Protect sensitive business information by following established confidentiality and data handling standards. Conduct routine data reviews and quality checks to help ensure consistency and reliability across records. Provide administrative support to the team by assisting with clerical and operational tasks as needed. Track assigned workloads and complete tasks in alignment with established daily and weekly accuracy expectations. Coordinate with team members to resolve data issues and improve the overall quality of accounts receivable information. Previous experience in data entry, clerical support, or a related administrative role. Strong typing ability with the accuracy needed to enter numeric and text-based information efficiently. Proficiency using computer systems, databases, and standard office software for data entry tasks. Ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and incomplete records with strong attention to detail. Comfortable managing confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Capable of organizing work effectively and meeting productivity goals in a deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills to support coordination with internal team members.
