Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining financial information, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and supporting the team with administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and maintain financial data in QuickBooks and other company systems. Process and reconcile bank account transactions, deposits, and other financial records. Review data for accuracy and identify discrepancies or missing information. Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for client records and financial documents. Create, update, and manage spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. Assist accounting staff with data collection, document organization, and administrative support. Research and resolve data entry errors and discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and client information. Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Previous data entry, bookkeeping, administrative, or accounting support experience is required. Proficiency in QuickBooks required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience handling bank account transactions and financial records. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to identify issues and effectively problem-solve. High attention to detail and accuracy. Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent attendance and reliability. #IND123 This position will be part-time to start. The days will be Monday-Thursday.
