Job Description

PrideStaff is currently seeking a
PART-TIME
Data Entry Admin / Customer Service Rep for a manufacturing client located in Monee, IL This would be a part-time position 3 days per week 20-29 hours per week hours can be somewhat flexible $18 per hour This individual would support the Customer Service team by ensuring customer orders, shipment information, and customer records are entered and maintained accurately. This role is responsible for processing customer purchase orders, managing electronic data transactions, and updating customer portals to provide timely and accurate information to customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Process customer purchase orders and accurately enter order information into the MIE system Review orders for completeness and follow up on discrepancies or missing information as needed. Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, including order receipt, processing, and issue resolution Update customer portals with shipment details, delivery information, order status updates, and other required documentation Monitor order activity and ensure customer information is maintained accurately and up to date Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, Shipping, and other departments to obtain information necessary for order processing and customer updates Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer orders and transactions. Assist with generating reports and providing data support to the Customer Service team Respond to internal requests regarding order status, customer information, and data accuracy Identify and communicate data discrepancies or process improvement opportunities to management Support departmental projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree
PREFERRED
Previous data entry, customer service, administrative, or order processing experience required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Experience with ERP systems, MIE, EDI platforms, or customer portals is preferred Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys supporting customer service operations through accurate data management and timely communication. In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
