Job Description

Position Summary Paragon Force, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator I to support government operations by accurately entering, transcribing, and maintaining data within various automated systems and databases. This entry-level position works under close supervision and follows established procedures, detailed instructions, and standardized processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong keyboarding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy while supporting mission-critical programs in a secure environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enter, update, and verify data from standardized source documents into electronic databases and computer systems. Operate keyboard-controlled data entry equipment and computer systems to transcribe information into formats suitable for computer processing. Review source documents for completeness and accuracy prior to data entry. Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards for data processing activities. Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality while handling sensitive government information. Identify missing, incomplete, or questionable information and escalate issues to supervisory personnel for resolution. Perform routine data validation and quality checks to ensure accurate recordkeeping. Organize, maintain, and retrieve electronic and paper records as required. Support document management, filing, scanning, and records maintenance activities. Adhere to all security, safety, and company policies and procedures. Perform other administrative and data management duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or
GED. 0-3
years of experience in data entry, administrative support, clerical work, or a related field. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. Strong alphanumeric keyboarding and data entry skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently on routine assignments under close supervision. Preferred Previous experience with data entry, records management, or office administration. Familiarity with government, military, or defense contractor environments. Experience working with electronic document management systems or databases. Physical Requirements Ability to remain seated for extended periods while operating a computer. Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding and data entry. Ability to view computer screens and read printed documents. Occasionally lift and carry files, documents, or office materials up to 25 pounds.
