Job Description
Description We are looking for a dependable Data Entry Clerk to support daily operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining accurate records, assisting with invoicing support, and helping track shipments and volume-related information in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to manage routine tasks with consistency and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data accurately in company systems to support invoicing and operational records
- Organize, file, and maintain documents so information is easy to retrieve and audit when needed
- Monitor package activity and record shipping details to help maintain accurate tracking information
- Capture and maintain volume-related data to support reporting and day-to-day workflow visibility
- Review entries for completeness and correct discrepancies to ensure reliable documentation
- Scan, sort, and process incoming paperwork while keeping digital and physical files in order
- Communicate through email and other internal channels regarding record updates, missing details, and status question Requirements
- Prior experience in a high volume data entry
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and stay organized
- Proficiency with 10-key entry and accurate typing skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to manage email correspondence with attention to detail
- Experience with scanning, filing, and maintaining organized records
- Basic math skills with the ability to perform routine calculations
