Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate record management and administrative coordination in Quincy, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who works efficiently with high-volume information, communicates professionally, and maintains well-organized files and documentation. The role requires strong keyboarding ability, confidence with Microsoft Office applications, and a consistent focus on accuracy in daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and verify data in internal systems with a high level of speed and accuracy.
Review documents for completeness and correct discrepancies before records are finalized.
Manage scanned files and digital documents to ensure materials are easy to retrieve and properly organized.
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and routine documentation using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Handle email communication related to record updates, status questions, and general administrative support.
Perform basic numerical checks and calculations when processing forms, logs, or supporting documents.
Assist with file organization and record maintenance to support efficient day-to-day operations.
Provide courteous customer service when responding to inquiries or coordinating information requests. Requirements
Proven ability to perform data entry work with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in 10-key entry and typing for efficient information processing.
Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word in an administrative or clerical setting.
Comfortable managing email correspondence in a detail-focused business environment.
Ability to organize physical and electronic files in a structured manner.
Capable of performing basic calculations as part of routine data handling tasks.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to scan, sort, and maintain documents while meeting productivity expectations.
