Office Assistant / Data Entry Clerk Job Summary The Office Assistant / Data Entry Clerk provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data, handling office correspondence, organizing files, and assisting with daily administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Enter, update, and verify data in company databases and systems. Maintain accurate records and ensure data confidentiality. Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications. File, organize, and maintain physical and electronic documents. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other office documents. Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed. Assist with inventory tracking and office supply orders. Support team members with administrative and clerical tasks. Scan, copy, and distribute documents. Perform general office duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous office, clerical, or data entry experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong typing and data entry skills with attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills Experience with office management software or databases. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or recordkeeping. Customer service experience. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment Office setting with standard business hours. May require extended periods of sitting and computer use.
Pay:
$20 - $25 per hour based on experience and qualifications
