Typing Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately processing and maintaining financial and operational records while supporting the daily administrative needs of the department. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. The Data Entry Clerk plays an important role in ensuring company records, deposits, commissions, and invoice documentation are properly recorded and reconciled.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Post ATM deposits accurately and timely
  • Process company route driver cash and sales commissions
  • Pull copies of invoices for the Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Verify route settlements against invoices to ensure all invoices are properly loaded into the DSD system
  • Record paperwork received into Excel spreadsheets and identify any missing items
  • Maintain accurate records and organized documentation
  • Compile, extract, and generate reports as needed
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments
  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision or management
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one (1) year previous data entry experience
  • Prior cash handling experience and knowledge preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain thorough and accurate
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including experience with:
  • Accounting software systems
  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (creating and maintaining reports)
  • Microsoft Access
  • Ability to enter, compile, and extract data efficiently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer workstation for extended periods of time
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and data entry
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move files or office materials as needed
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for supporting daily accounting and administrative functions through accurate data entry, reconciliation, and recordkeeping activities.
This position ensures deposits, commissions, invoices, and route settlements are processed correctly and documented efficiently. The role requires maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and organization while working in a fast-paced environment. Employees are expected to seek guidance from their immediate Supervisor or Manager whenever clarification regarding procedures or responsibilities is needed. All required job duties and procedures are covered during employee training.

$19.55 per hour
