Job Description

About Pastry Chefs Boutique Founded in 2015, Pastry Chefs Boutique is a fast-growing premium e-commerce platform specializing in world-class pastry tools, professional equipment, and hospitality solutions for chefs and luxury hospitality clients across the globe. We are privately held, profitable, and built on a culture of excellence, precision, and continuous growth. Our team is small, driven, and deeply invested in the quality of everything we produce — including every product page on our site. About the Role We are looking for a detail-obsessed, organized, and motivated Product Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to our growth: you will be responsible for entering, formatting, and optimizing product listings on our e-commerce platform with the accuracy and quality standards our brand demands. Every product page you create directly impacts our search visibility, customer experience, and revenue — which is why this role includes a performance-based commission structure tied to listing quality and volume. This is not a generic data entry role. You will work with premium product catalogs from world-class manufacturers and be trained to understand our brand standards, SEO requirements, and category architecture. Responsibilities Enter new products onto the website accurately and completely, following established templates and brand guidelines Write or adapt product titles, descriptions, and attributes in alignment with SEO and brand tone standards Source, resize, and upload high-quality product images per platform specifications Organize products into the correct categories, collections, and tags Enter all technical specifications — dimensions, materials, capacity, compatibility — with zero tolerance for error Cross-reference manufacturer catalogs, spec sheets, and price lists to ensure data accuracy Maintain and update existing product listings as needed — pricing changes, new images, inventory flags Identify and flag missing information, inconsistencies, or catalog gaps to the team Meet weekly listing volume targets to qualify for performance commission Collaborate with the content and sales team to prioritize new product launches What We're Looking For Exceptional attention to detail — errors on product pages are not acceptable Strong written English — you will be writing and adapting product copy Comfortable working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience a strong plus) Organized, autonomous, and capable of managing high-volume workloads without losing accuracy Fast learner who can absorb product knowledge across multiple manufacturer catalogs French language skills a plus (some manufacturer catalogs are in French) Interest in or familiarity with the culinary, pastry, or hospitality industry a strong plus
Compensation Structure Base Salary:
Competitive, commensurate with experience
Performance Commission:
Earned on verified, fully completed product listings that meet our quality checklist — the faster and more accurately you work, the more you earn Growth path into content, SEO, or category management for high performers What We Offer Modern, casual work environment Direct access to leadership and real impact on company growth Training on premium hospitality and pastry product categories Opportunity to grow into a senior content or e-commerce role A team that takes quality seriously and rewards people who do the same
