Job Description

Position Summary Supports voter registration and data-processing workflows by clearing SRD queues, entering new applications, processing AVR records, and maintaining accurate electronic records under County procedures. Key Responsibilities Clear assigned SRD queues by reviewing records, completing data-entry tasks, and routing exceptions according to training. Input new applications accurately into designated systems and verify records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Process AVR records and related voter-registration transactions according to County procedures and deadlines. Review documents, forms, database records, and queue notes for missing information, duplicate entries, or data discrepancies. Maintain confidentiality of voter information and follow all access-control and data-security requirements. Communicate record issues, system errors, unclear instructions, or unusual cases to the supervisor promptly. Assist with quality control, filing, scanning, indexing, and other data-support tasks as assigned. Required Skills and Competencies Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with accuracy. Computer proficiency and ability to learn County data systems quickly. Strong attention to detail, proofreading ability, and commitment to accurate data entry. Team-oriented work style and ability to follow procedures consistently during repetitive tasks. Good judgment, confidentiality, and nonpartisan conduct when handling voter information. Minimum Qualifications and Compliance Requirements Background check and drug screening required before assignment. Registered Clark County voter and willing to disclose political affiliation if required for the assignment. Must complete required systems, confidentiality, and data-entry training before accessing voter records. Schedule and Working Conditions Primarily computer-based work that may involve prolonged sitting, screen use, keyboarding, and repetitive record review. Work volume may surge near registration deadlines and election-cycle milestones. Must be available to work through the election cycle with limited requested days off. Must be available for schedule needs that may include 8-10 hour shifts, weekends, flexible start and end times, overtime, and extended hours on specific event days, especially Election Day. Must remain reliable, punctual, and responsive to assignment changes during a fast-paced, deadline-driven election environment. Must follow County security rules, workplace policies, chain-of-custody expectations, confidentiality requirements, dress code, and professional conduct standards. Performance Expectations Completes assigned work accurately, on time, and in accordance with training and County procedures. Maintains nonpartisan conduct, voter confidentiality, ballot security, and respectful service at all times. Escalates exceptions, voter issues, equipment concerns, safety concerns, and unclear instructions promptly to the designated supervisor or lead. Accurately documents work performed, materials handled, calls received, records updated, and/or batch activity as applicable to the assignment.

Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
