Position Description Title:
Data Entry & ERP Data Integrity Specialist Reports to: Director of Operations / Controller (as assigned)
Location:
Hicksville, NY Primary Purpose Provide detail-oriented data entry and data integrity support across Inventory, Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure all system data is accurate, complete, and current prior to the company's ERP conversion to NetSuite. This role is critical in validating master and transactional data, resolving discrepancies, and supporting a smooth and successful ERP migration in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Essential Functions Review, audit, and maintain ERP data to ensure accuracy and completeness in preparation for NetSuite conversion. Validate and update inventory master data, including item numbers, descriptions, units of measure, pack sizes, locations, and on-hand quantities. Reconcile system data with inventory counts, operational records, and accounting information to identify and resolve discrepancies. Verify operational and shipping data such as order statuses, routing, and fulfillment information to ensure consistency across systems. Support Accounting by validating item costs, pricing, vendor records, and inventory-related financial data. ️ Maintain logs of data corrections, outstanding issues, and completed audits. Partner cross-functionally with Inventory, Operations, Accounting, IT, and ERP implementation teams to address data gaps and support conversion testing. Perform additional data entry, reporting, and departmental support tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall computer skills required. Prior experience in data entry, inventory control, operations, or accounting support within a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing large volumes of data with accuracy. ️ Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating findings and discrepancies to internal stakeholders. Resourceful, diligent, and adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
