RATE OF PAY
$20.57 per hourJOB FUNCTION
: Responsible for assisting the Office Manager with the day-to-day functioning of the Housing Office.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Enter, update, and maintain information (alphabetic, numeric, financial) from paper documents, digital files into databases/spreadsheets for Housing Programs. Review records for accuracy, identify errors, and correct discrepancies. Sort, organize, and manage both physical and digital records for easy retrieval. Retrieve data and generate reports for other departments or staff members as requested. Follow up with staff or clients to collect missing information. Incorporate a Trauma Informed Care approach to program delivery. In daily assignments, demonstrate a commitment to a continuum of care. Conduct outreach for Division and Agency programs. Process and manage applications and wait lists. Manage upkeep of and track equipment, computer systems, supplies, etc. according to Agency policies. Perform routine cleaning of workspace and report any issues affecting safety. Attend and participate in required training and meetings. Adhere to Agency policy regarding breaks, leave, tardiness and absences. Follow directions of supervisory personnel and work cooperatively with team. Understand Agency mission to integrate services, recognize family needs, and make appropriate referrals for services which can help customers out of poverty. Treat co-workers and customers with respect, flexibility, and professionalism and consider their input when solving problems.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
: Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the successful execution of the program.QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred with (1) year related experience. Basic computer literacy in email, word processing and internet navigation. Able to work as a member of a team or independently. Able to effectively communicate with co-workers, the public and low-income families from diverse backgrounds and maintain accurate records.
