About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the financial services industry to hire a Data Entry Contractor. This role plays a key part in supporting daily financial operations by ensuring accurate entry and processing of payment-related information.
Job Description:
The Data Entry Contractor is responsible for entering and processing high volumes of payment data received through various channels. This position requires reviewing account information, verifying details for accuracy, and following defined procedures to ensure transactions are correctly recorded in the system. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input and process payment information from checks, electronic transfers, and phone transactions Review account and transaction details prior to entry to ensure accuracy Conduct research within internal systems to resolve discrepancies or missing information Support internal fund transfers to ensure proper allocation of funds Assist with reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate data processing Follow established workflows and procedures for various transaction types Maintain productivity and quality standards in a high-volume environment
Qualifications:
Previous data entry, payment processing, or administrative experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage large volumes of data with speed and precision Comfortable navigating multiple systems and learning new processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong organizational and communication skills
