Job Description
Authorization Specialist/ Data Entry Clerk needed in NYC. Mostly remote. Must go to the office 1 day a month. Job Description Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word) required. Flexibility to work from bothan in office setting and remotely from home in a secure location required. Must have own high speed internet at home.
Typing speed:
60 wpm Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills. Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details. Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals). Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for revie strongly preferred. Knowledge of
HCPCS, CPT
codes, ICD 10, HIPPA and PHI preferred. Coding/billing experience preferred but not required. Additional programs utilized but prior knowledge is required (Perceptive Content Image Now, MS Access, Adobe and Altruista Guiding Care, Excel, Teams OneNote).
