This role focuses on cue sheet data processing , rights tracking, and system entry to ensure proper identification and registration of music controlled by our publishing group. This is an entry‑level position with strong learning potential in the music business and copyright administration. The role is currently posted as a temporary assignment , with frequent extensions and the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and business need. Key Responsibilities Collect and process music cue sheet data from film and TV productions. Input and maintain accurate music metadata in internal systems, including: Song titles Composers and writers Publishers and ownership information Usage duration and placement details Identify which works are controlled by our publishing group and ensure they are correctly tagged and registered. Coordinate closely with coordinators and team leads who will provide training and ongoing support. Flag incomplete, missing, or inconsistent information in cue sheets and escalate as needed. Maintain organized records and support the team in timely delivery of admin‑related deliverables. Qualifications (Must‑Have) Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles with an emphasis on accuracy and volume. Strong Excel skills (Intermediate level) : comfortable with sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and data cleanup. Highly detail‑oriented with a focus on correctness and consistency. Ability to learn quickly in a structured, process‑driven environment. Comfort working in a hybrid schedule (M-W in‑office, T-F work from home). Nice‑to‑Have (Preferred) Background or interest in the music business , publishing, rights administration, or media. Basic familiarity with Adobe PDF tools for viewing and extracting information from cue sheets. Experience working in entertainment, media, or production‑adjacent environments.

Interview Process First interview:

Screening / fit conversation with the Hiring Manager. Second interview (onsite): In‑person discussion with the Hiring Manager and possibly an additional team member. Hands‑on Excel skills test to evaluate your ability to process and manage music‑related data.
