Job Description:

Head of Data Collection - (Hybrid, Midtown Manhattan) A globally recognised technology and data-driven organisation is seeking a Head of Data Collection to lead the strategy, structure, and evolution of a large-scale market and operational data function. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building scalable data collection frameworks, improving data quality, and enabling smarter, AI-driven decision making across the organisation's technology platforms. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and senior business stakeholders to shape how large volumes of business-critical data are sourced, validated, structured, and leveraged across multiple teams and products. The role would suit someone who combines strong operational leadership with a deep understanding of data platforms, analytics workflows, and modern technology-driven environments. Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and operational management of data collection initiatives across multiple datasets and business domains.
• Build scalable processes for acquiring, validating, structuring, and maintaining large volumes of data.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to improve data accessibility and usability.
• Drive data quality standards, governance processes, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, APIs, and modern data platform initiatives.
• Use data insights and market trends to influence product and business decisions.
• Manage and mentor teams focused on data operations, collection, and quality assurance.
• Support the evolution of AI and analytics-driven products through improved data processes and coverage. What We're Looking For
• Experience leading data collection, data operations, or analytics-focused teams.
• Strong understanding of large-scale data platforms and modern data workflows.
• Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, or Data Science teams.
• Knowledge of APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-based data environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience within data-rich, technology-driven industries is highly desirable.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in fast-paced environments. Nice to Have
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Tableau or modern BI/data tooling.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or analytics-led product environments.
• Experience working with large-scale operational or market intelligence datasets. What This Team Offers
