Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a seasonal workload in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This is a contract position offering part-time hours of approximately 20 hours per week in a service-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong keyboarding accuracy, stay organized while handling repetitive tasks, and help ensure records are updated efficiently and correctly.
Responsibilities:
  • Enter, review, and update information in company systems with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
  • Process large volumes of records to help reduce administrative backlog and keep documentation current.
  • Use 10-key entry and typing skills to complete data-related tasks efficiently and consistently.
  • Scan, organize, and maintain digital and physical files so information is easy to retrieve.
  • Verify entries for completeness, correct formatting, and calculation accuracy before submission.
  • Manage email-based follow-up related to data questions, document status, and record clarification.
  • Prepare and update spreadsheets and documents in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word as needed.
  • Support general clerical tasks that contribute to smooth daily operations and timely record processing.
