Pedestrian Signal Data Collector (Midland, TX) Daxbot is an Oregon-based Robotics company, looking for a dedicated person to supplement our data collection for disability compliance assessments, in Midland, TX. As a Pedestrian Signal Data Collector, you will travel from traffic signal to traffic signal and document basic observations pertaining to the signals. Observations include audible, visual, and tactile cues. Any necessary measurement devices will be provided.
Salary :
Temporary Part Time Position:
$20/hour (most likely will extend to approximately the middle/end of July 2026)
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Document audible, visual, and tactile cues on a prepared form Follow safety protocols Validate existing automated measurements Participate in training sessions to maintain knowledge of best collection practices Communicate and coordinate with project manager to uphold project timelines
Education and Essential Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent Good communication skills, both verbal and written Able to stand and walk for multiple hours at a time Ability to work independently to achieve goals while contributing to the success of overall team
About Us :
Daxbot is a robotics company, based in Philomath, Oregon. Daxbot's mission is to place 'Robots in the service of Humanity'. We do jobs that are dirty, dull, or dangerous by using our robot helpers to help improve the quality of life for humans. Currently, we are using robots to perform ADA assessments on sidewalks in cities all over the United States. The data is then used by the cities to determine how to best upgrade their infrastructure to make it usable for people with disabilities.
